WEST ALLIS, Wis. — Crews in West Allis are working to repair a water main break that will impact drivers coming on and off the highway.
The break is on westbound Lincoln Avenue at the 894 ramp. One lane of westbound Lincoln Avenue traffic will be closed. The on-ramp to NB 894 will remain open.
The northbound 894 on-ramp from eastbound Lincoln Avenue will be closed, and traffic for 894 northbound will be detoured at W. Lincoln Avenue and S. 102nd Street. The detour will direct traffic to use the NB 894 ramp at W. National Ave.
West Allis officals anticipate the leak will be fixed and all pavement restored to full traffic by the morning of Saturday, September 13.
This is the third water main break in the city in the last week.
