MILWAUKEE – The Brewers were set to continue their season-long ten-game homestand on Tuesday night, and manager Pat Murphy won’t take it for granted.
“It’s always good to be home and around your family,” Murphy told WTMJ’s Wis. Morning News on Tuesday. “It makes things move a little quicker. You’re more capable of getting your life in order (when you’re home) and it shows up on the field.”
After winning 8-in-a-row the Brewers are in a bit of a slump as they face tough teams looking to go to the World Series.
“It’s a challenging 162 games, I promise you,” the manager said. “It’s always nice to be home. It’s the greatest ballpark in baseball.”
