Hundreds of Kohl’s employees are being laid off as the company cuts corporate staffing by 15-percent.
According to our partners at the Milwaukee Business Journal, the moves are a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The cuts will impact workers in the Milwaukee area, as well as jobs in California and New York.
It’s unclear exactly how many workers are being let go.
Kohl’s needed to furlough 85,000 employees earlier in the pandemic when company stores closed. They have since been reopened.
