Who was it?
After every game the Brewers clinched in 2026, manager Pat Murphy would give a toast to the team. It was a neat moment. He would mention our beloved Bob Uecker and the players would cheer before popping bottles. But Brewers fans have wondered who was the player making that high pitched sound in the background?
In every toast (Central Division clinch, NLDS clinch, NLCS, and World Series) a player can be heard squealing, almost like a whining cat.
(You can hear it below at :24 sec in)

Who was it?? Now we know.
“It was Abner Uribe,” centerfielder Garrett Mitchell told us Friday during Good Karma Sports’ coverage of the Brewers Championship Parade.
No one is surprised that a goofy reliever like Uribe would do something like this, but why did he do it??
“I have no idea,” Mitchell laughed. “But that’s what make us so special. We’re all little characters. We all can make the noise too. We’ve heard it so many times.”
