OAK CREEK, Wis.– Lockdown at the Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Oak Creek campus lifted as Oak Creek police investigate a nearby incident.
Preliminary information indicates that a person was stabbed at motel near the MATC campus and the suspect is on the loose.
Staff and students were sent an alert at 9:02 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, to lock all doors and windows and remain in shelter. The emergency was cleared at 9:43 p.m. later that evening and operations resumed as normal.
