Kenosha is ready to listen.
City leaders laying the groundwork this week for how the city plans to move forward in the wake of riots and protests over the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
Mayor John Antaramian says they’re scheduling four community listening sessions to address systemic racism, criminal justice, employment and education.
The first session is this Sunday.
As we await the results of the investigation into the shooting of Blake, Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth says they are preparing for anything.
“We’re anticipating no matter how the decision comes out that we are going to need to do something.”
