Voters in Wisconsin are heading to the polls today, despite an ongoing pandemic and stay-at-home order.
“I’m not happy with the way things have transpired at all, but we move forward,” Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett tells WTMJ.
“This has been so, so, so mishandled.”
Just five voting sites are open in the city of Milwaukee.
“With five sites, we have a lot of people working there which defies every single tenet of public health. It still defies logic to me that every other state in this country was able to deal with this issue, except for us.”
If you are heading to the polls today, the Mayor offers this advice.
“Be very, very careful. Make sure you bring your own pen, make sure you wear a mouth guard or face guard. Social distance, social distance, social distance.”
