The second annual ‘Ethan's Run Against Addiction’ happens June 8th in Greenfield.
Named for Ethan Monson-Dupuis, a Whitnall High School track standout who died of an opioid overdose in 2016. He was just 25.
His parents channeled their grief in several ways– next month's event is just one.
They also formed a support group to help others dealing with the loss of a loved one to addiction, as well as the lingering stereotypes.
The support group is named –Grief Recovery After A Substance Passing, or 'GRASP.' Find out more at grasphelp.com.
WTMJ’s Gene Mueller talked to two young women about what it’s like to be a sibling of someone struggling with addition.
