Greendale native looks into medical errors

One out of four patients in the United States gets hurt by medical error, which is the third leading cause of death in the country.

After a partial hip replacement left his mother in a coma, Greendale native Steve Burrows has spent the past decade trying to figure out what went wrong, all while juggling an active Hollywood career.

Burrows turned the story into an HBO documentary called 'Bleed Out' that premiered Monday night. It plays out right here in places like West Allis and Greendale, featuring names like Aurora Health Care.
