The Red Rooster Café has been a Mineral Point institution for over 30 years and is known and loved for its Cornish Pasties.

For nearly 50 years, Norske Nook in Osseo has been famous for its Norwegian and American specialties and award-winning pies.

- Norske Nook started in Osseo, but has expanded to several locations around the state, including Rice Lake, Hayward and DeForest.
- They’re known for their blend of American and Norwegian cuisine – think breakfast and lunch wraps that are made with lefse instead of a tortilla.
- Diners can still enjoy classic Norwegian dishes like Scandinavian pancakes with lingonberries or Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes and gravy.
The menu at The Old Fashioned in Madison is inspired by the food and drinks that made our state famous – Old Fashioneds, prime rib sandwiches and, of course, cheese curds.
