Wisconsin continues to be one the of largest producers of dairy products in the U.S., including the largest production of cheese in the country and the only state in America with a Master Cheesemaker program. Celebrate Dairy Month this June with these fun activities.
Manitowoc Farm Discovery Center
Here in Wisconsin, one of the most important states to the agriculture industry, we have a unique opportunity to lead the way in educating and engaging people with the first-ever Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center.
- Farm Wisconsin will educate visitors of all ages about how and where their food is produced and why agriculture is important.
- The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center opened last July and quickly became a prominent location for agricultural tourism events and other professional meetings.
- Visitors are encouraged to experience the exhibits, see the calf birthing barn, and enjoy Wisconsin-made culinary treats from the country store.
