MILWAUKEE — Giannis Antetokounmpo is sticking around for a few more years.
Antetokounmpo confirmed via his X account that he’d reached a multi-year extension with the only franchise he’s ever known.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that the contract extension is for 3 years and $186 million with a Player option for the 2027-28 season.
Antetokounmpo, who was drafted by the Bucks in the first round of the 2013 NBA Draft, has become synonymous with the franchise.

During his time in Milwaukee, the team has been a perennial title contender and won the NBA title during the 2020-2021 season. Giannis is a 2-time NBA MVP, former Defensive Player of the Year, & has been named to the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team.
