One day after the Milwaukee Bucks officially sign two-time NBA champion Pau Gasol, the Golden State Warriors are reportedly going to re-sign a former Buck.
Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports says the Golden State Warriors “intend” on bringing into the fold Andrew Bogut (pictured above with the Bucks against Gasol), who spent seven seasons with the Bucks and four with Golden State.
Bogut has to first get clearance from his current team in his homeland of Australia.
Bogut spent 2005-12 with the Bucks, his first seven seasons in the NBA. He led the NBA in blocks in 2010-11 with 2.6 per game, while averaging double figures in points in his final six seasons with eMilwaukee.
Bogut was the regular starting center on the Warriors’ 2014-15 NBA championship team.
