Yasmani Grandal and Mike Moustakas have both declined their mutual options with the Milwaukee Brewers.
The All-Star players will now become free agents.
Moustakas rejected a $10 million option, while Grandal’s option was worth $16 million.
The team has also announced that several pitchers will opt for free agency as well.
The departures include Matt Albers, Gio Gonzalez, Jay Jackson, Jordan Lyles and Drew Pomeranz.Â
In other Brewers roster news, the team announced that Tyler Austin and Cory Spangenberg have both refused outright assignments to AAA San Antonio and have elected free agency instead.
After the moves, the 40-man roster now stands at 31.
