Milwaukee Brewers General Manager David Stearns joined WTMJ’s Wisconsin’s Morning News on Thursday morning, and while not specifically saying what constituted a goal for his team on their current nine—game, three city western swing, he did give some hints as to his definition of success in such a difficult stretch.
“We don’t really talk about it in those terms,” Stearns says.
“We certainly understand what these trips are like. Generally, with any road trip, especially any long road trip, if you can finish above .500 on a trip, that’s generally considered a successful trip.”
