A Sunday night win over the Tennessee Titans and a Los Angeles Rams win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Should the above scenario become reality, the Green Bay Packers will earn the top seed in the NFC playoffs and the conference’s only first round bye.
“I’m not being hyperbolic here, it is the most important one-seed in the history of the NFL,” Packers Hall-of-Famer Mark Tauscher tells Wisconsin’s Afternoon News. “When you can eliminate the possibility of being eliminated, and everyone else has to play…it’s critical this year, more than any other.”
Should the Packers stumble against the Titans, they can secure the top-seed with a week-17 win over the Chicago Bears.
