An update from Chris Solari, the original reporter who broke the story on the Big Ten choosing to cancel football: An official announcement on a unanimous move to cancel the season should come Tuesday.
Big Ten football spokesman: “No vote has been taken.” Another conference source, however, tells me presidents are moving unanimously together in canceling the season, with an announcement expected Tuesday.

The Big Ten’s chancellors and presidents have not held a vote at this time on whether to halt the football season, according to Yahoo Sports’ Pete Thamel and ESPN’s Heather Dinich.

The Big Ten Conference has voted to halt the 2020 college football season due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic, according to a report from the Detroit Free Press.
12 universities including the University of Wisconsin voted to not play this fall, Dan Patrick reported on his radio show.
Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren reportedly wants to hold football games in the spring, according to the Free Press.
