The Big Ten Conference is halting its mens basketball tournament in Indianapolis over health concerns, following the NCAA going to a fan-less tournament and the NBA postponing its season.
“The Big Ten Conference will use this time to work with the appropriate medical experts and institutional leadership to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic,” the conference said in a statement.

The Badgers had been scheduled to play at 11 a.m. in its tournament quarterfinal. They were the tournament’s No. 1 seed.
