A new report says that the Big East men’s tournament has been halted. Marquette was scheduled to play Seton Hall tonight at 8:30 p.m. in a quarterfinal game.
The Big East has canceled its tournament, effective immediately.

The Big East Conference is reportedly going to be stopping fans from attending the remainder of tournament games after Wednesday night, including all games Marquette would play in the tournament being held in New York City.

Marquette is scheduled to play Seton Hall at 8:30 p.m. Central time Thursday, with a possible Friday semifinal and Saturday championship game if they win. (All games will air on 94.5 ESPN.)

The NBA announced it is suspending its season, and the NCAA is playing its men’s and women’s basketball tournament games without fans.
