Huge pick up for Fred Hoiberg and the Cornhuskers. King was averaging double-figures for the Badgers before he left the team late last month.
King, a junior, averaged 10.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists in his 19 games this year.
After scoring in double figures in seven of the Badgers’ first nine games this year, he only reached double figures scoring once in his final four games, with no points in 28 minutes played against Purdue on Friday.
It was the third time this year he didn’t score, despite playing more than 20 minutes on the court.
