Tune in and chime in on our earlier Facebook Live below for Marquette Monday presented by ULine, as Bryan Dee and Jay Sorgi discussed Marquette basketball’s recent downturn and how it aims to recover.
The Marquette men’s basketball team has some work to do.
Two losses in four days, one each to Villanova and Creighton, have Marquette six spots lower in the AP Top 25, as they dropped from No. 10 last week to No. 16 on Monday.
Marquette entered its game against Villanova with a chance to clinch the Big East title.
But after that loss and the subsequent (and unexpected) defeat at the hands of Creighton, MU now trails Villanova by a half game.
Marquette still owns control of its destiny for a share of the conference crown as takes to the road Wednesday against Seton Hall and hosts Senior Day against Georgetown on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Wisconsin Badgers men’s squad also drops to 21 – a two-spot slide after its loss at Indiana on Tuesday and a close win over Penn State on Saturday.
