9:10 – This one’s over. Fans stream for the exits. We will have a Game 7 back in Boston on Sunday night.
–
9:00p – The Bucks need another miracle. Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart hit back-to-back 3’s. Boston’s lead is back up to 13 with only 4 minutes to play.
–
8:52p – Jayson Tatum is an assassin. He’s now got 41 points on 16 of 30 from the field. Every time the Bucks pull within 4, Tatum is there with a silencer.
–
8:49p – Giannis pulls up and hits from 3. Fiserv Forum explodes. He’s now got 40. Boston’s lead is down to 4 with over 8 minutes to play.
–
8:40p – Wild sequence early in the 4th quarter. Giannis just put Celtics guard Peyton Pritchard on a poster. He finishes a monster dunk + 1.
On the very next possession, he looks to have picked up his fifth personal foul.
Mike Budenholzer challenges and wins. Giannis goes to the line with 4 fouls instead of 5. He makes two.
Then, Pat Connaughton knocks down a 3.
Boston’s lead down to 6 in the blink of an eye.
–
START 4Q – A review rules a Jayson Tatum basket a 2 instead of a 3. The Bucks’ deficit to start the 4th quarter is 12, not 13.
–
END 3Q – The Bucks are going to need another comeback if they want to advance tonight. They trail the Celtics 83 to 70 after 3 quarters. Celtics star Jayson Tatum is going off. –
HALF – The Bucks trail the Celtics 53 to 43 at the half. Giannis leads all scorers with 21. He’s got 3 fouls. Jrue Holiday adds 12 points of his own.
If there is such a thing, Giannis’ 50 points in Game 6 of the 2021 Finals was a sneaky 50. It crept up on you. Tonight is no such thing. This has been a loud, impressive, in-your-face performance from the 2-time MVP. He’s keeping the Bucks afloat.
7:34p – An unsuccessful challenge from Boston on a Giannis vs. Marcus Smart block/charge call helps the Bucks cut the Celtics lead to 5.
During the review, the crowd welcomes more Packers in attendance. Kenny Clark, Elgton Jenkins, and Aaron Jones are in the house.
–
7:22p – Boston stays scorching hot from 3-point range. They’re now 10 for 17 from beyond the arc, building an 8-point lead with 9:26 remaining in the first half.
–
END 1Q – Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the Bucks with 17 points on 5 of 8 shooting, 6 for 6 from the free throw line. Still, the Bucks trail the Celtics 28 to 26 after the first quarter. Boston is shooting 8 for 15 from 3-point range.
–
7:11p – Packers’ Robert Tonyan and David Bakhtiari are sitting courtside. Bakhtiari, as has become a Bucks tradition unlike any other, chugged not one, but two beers.
–
7:00p – Giannis Antetokounmpo is cooking early. He scores 15 points in the first 7 minutes.

“Bucks in 6” has a chance to become reality once again on Friday night.
The Milwaukee Bucks attempt to close out the Boston Celtics and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the third time in 4 years.
Coming off a dramatic, come from behind win in Game 5, Giannis and company are happy, but certainly not satisfied.
“The job’s not done,” Giannis Antetokounmpo said speaking with the media after Game 5.
