The Detroit Lions are 5 and 7.
They’ve fired head coach Matt Patricia. They’ve fired general manager Bob Quinn.
But they still found a way to earn a comeback victory over the Chicago Bears last Sunday.
A wounded team can be a dangerous team according to Packers’ head coach Matt LaFleur.
“Everybody’s dangerous in this league,” LaFleur tells WTMJ. “I thought [that win over Chicago] was pretty impressive. Our guys know what’s in front of them. They’ve got to be ready to play.”
Reinforcements are arriving on offense.
Newly acquired wide receiver Tavon Austin will make his Packers debut.
“That’s the plan right now,” says LaFleur.
The head coach is hopeful that Austin can help on both kick and punt returns, as well as on offense.
Kickoff from Ford Field in Detroit on Sunday is set for 3:25p. Coverage starts at Noon on 620 WTMJ.
