The front page of Brewers.com says that they will play the Reds in a doubleheader starting at 4:10 p.m. CT at Miller Park. WTMJ will carry both games of the doubleheader.

The Brewers statement on not playing tonight:
“The players from the Brewers and Reds have decided to not play tonight’s baseball game. With our community and our nation in such pain, we wanted to draw as much attention to the issues that really matter, especially racial injustice and systemic oppression.”

Both the Brewers and Reds are sitting out tonight’s game, according to both the Wall Street Journal’s Jared Diamond and Bob Nightengale of USA Today.

An hour after the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted their NBA Playoffs Game 5 against the Orlando Magic, the Brewers are reportedly considering not playing their game against Cincinnati at Miller Park tonight.
Relief pitcher Josh Hader said before afternoon workouts today that the Brewers would consider such a move.
