A majority of fall sports in the NCAA Division III Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) will not happen in for the 2020-21 academic year.
The WIAC announcing on Monday it is canceling seasons and championships for football, women’s soccer, women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s cross country.
The women’s tennis and women’s golf seasons will be suspended until the spring in 2021.
Teams will still be able to practice if allowed by the NCAA.
There has been no decision made regarding the status of the winter sports season, which will be made at a later date.
The conference is made up of eight universities across Wisconsin.
