As the NFL gears up for a 2020 season impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, the league and its players union have agreed to not play any preseason games this year.
According to USA Today, union executives told players of the agreement Tuesday night.
Owners originally wanted to reduce the preseason from four to two games.
The report also says the league is reducing training camp rosters from 90 to 80 players.
