It’s Fat Tuesday Eve.
That means bakeries across the state are baking hundreds upon thousands of paczkis, getting ready for the rush of customers.
“It may be a little chilly, but you get a paczki in your belly and you’ll be feeling nice and warm,” jokes Greg Smurawa of Smurawa's Country Bakery in Pulaski.
Smurawa's offers 19 different flavors.

“Everything from your traditional raspberry, prune, apple to peanut butter French cream, chocolate French cream, custard, key lime.”
Smurawa says though they add the sugary-treat year-round, nothing compares to Fat Tuesday.
“This is our single most busiest day out of the whole year as far as paczki sales go,” he adds.
