Travel to the underworld in this traveling Broadway musical that won eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical in 2019.
The show at the Marcus Performing Arts Center has a New Orleans-style band on stage to help tell the mythical tale in a modern way of the love stories of Orpheus and Eurydice, plus King Hades and his wife, Persephone.

WISCONSIN GOVERNOR’S FISHING OPEN:

It’s that time of year! Grab your rod and reel and get to the Phillips Chain of Lakes on Saturday for the Wisconsin Governor’s Fishing Opener on Saturday. The Family Fishing Day is full of fun for all ages at Elk Lake Park, including a community fish fry in the park.

PALOMINO DERBY PARTY:
- Palomino Bar (2491 S Superior St, Milwaukee) on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Bourbon drinkers wearing big hats are welcome to celebrate the Kentucky Derby on Saturday at Palomino Bar in Bay View. For those 21 and older, enjoy a party in honor of the “most exciting two minutes in sports” with mint juleps, chocolate pecan pies, and Hot Fried Chicken Sandwiches on the menu.

- The Riverside Theatre (116 W Wisconsin Ave , Milwaukee) on Sunday, May 7 at 8 p.m..
Experience Pink Floyd music live, note for note accompanied by spectacular visuals on stage Sunday night with Brit Floyd at The Riverside Theater. Brit Floyd gets rave reviews from loyal fans who return year after year to see them perform.
Sunday’s show will be updated and special since they’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of the classic album, “The Dark Side of the Moon” and other songs for over two and half hours.
