The U.S. Senate has acquitted President Donald Trump on two counts – abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in connection with the request for Ukrainian intervention in investigating political opponents of President Trump – after being impeached on both charges by the House of Representatives.
Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson voted to acquit President Trump, while Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin voted that President Trump was guilty.
