President Donald Trump is appearing in a key battleground state in two weeks at the same time as a Democratic presidential debate in Iowa and a Milwaukee Bucks game two blocks away in downtown Milwaukee.
The Trump campaign announced on its web site that he will hold a campaign rally on Tuesday, January 14 at 7 p.m. at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
The rally will happen at the same time as the Democratic debate at Drake University in Iowa, as well as the Milwaukee Bucks-New York Knicks game two blocks north of the rally at Fiserv Forum.
Security and parking will be expected to be tighter than normal that evening in the downtown Milwaukee area, so those heading to either event may need to prepare for both.
This continues a pattern of President Trump holding rallies at the same time as other news involving him, or events being held by opposition, happen simultaneously.
