CHICAGO – Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez, a former nurse, addressed delegates on Monday night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention.
“During the COVID pandemic, (Donald) Trump and Wisconsin Republicans failed to protect our health,” Rodriguez told delegates. “That’s why I ran for office.”

Rodriguez was the first from Wisconsin to speak at the event.
