The percentage of positive COVID-19 tests in Wisconsin ticked upward Wednesday, after three days of declining numbers.
Of the 9,731 tested in the past 24 hours, 5.8% came back positive for COVID-19, according to the state’s Department of Health Services.
That compares to 3.4 percent of positive coronavirus tests on Tuesday, 4.1 percent on Monday and 5.5 percent on Sunday.
The number of reported deaths jumped by 22, the highest one day total since the pandemic began. In Wisconsin, 539 people have died after testing positive for coronavirus.
