Members of Milwaukee’s first responder teams will get a free lunch Thursday as a “thank you” for their hard work during the coronavirus pandemic.
First responders from the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee Fire Department, Paramedics, EMT’s, etc. will receive a sandwich, salad and Sprecher root beer outside the Police Administration Building (749 W. State Street) in downtown Milwaukee. The event begins at 11:30a. Sprecher will also hand out free 6-packs of beer to the first 100 people in line.
The gesture is a collaborative effort between Good Karma Brands (WTMJ’s parent company), 3rd Street Market Hall, Visit Milwaukee, JP Cullen and Sprecher Brewing Company.
Good Karma Brands Founder and CEO Craig Karmazin joined Wisconsin’s Afternoon News to share more about the event.
