After a two-day rise in the percentage of positive coronavirus tests in Wisconsin, that percentage has dipped again – a positive one-day sign in the fight against the pandemic.
The Department of Health Services’ latest one-day test results show that five percent of tests in the latest 24-hour measured period came were positive.
That is more than a three-percent drop from Wednesday, which was the second day in a combined doubling of the percentage.
Nearly 9,000 people had test results come back in the last 24 hours, with 95 percent of those tests in the state being negative.
13,885 people have contracted the virus since the pandemic began. 485 of those people died after contracting the virus.
