In the past two days, the percentage of overall positive tests for coronavirus has more than doubled across the state of Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services released new statewide figures for daily positive tests.
About eight percent of all coronavirus tests in the last measured 24 hour period were positive according to Wednesday’s data.
That shows a large increase over the last two days, as only 2.9 percent of COVID-19 tests on Monday were positive.
528 positive tests happened over the last 24 hours of tracked statewide data.
13,413 people have contracted the virus since the pandemic began. 481 of those people have died since contracting the virus.
