Wisconsin has enacted a ban of more than 10 people gathering in the wake of coronavirus, a ban announced as the state shared how 72 people have contracted coronavirus, with 24 of those cases in Milwaukee County.
All bars and restaurants in the state will be closed except for takeout and delivery. The school closure order will now be “until further notice,” among numerous other measures.
“The order makes exceptions for transportation, educational institutions, child care, hotels, military, law enforcement, food pantries, hospitals, long-term care facilities, restaurants and bars can only offer take-out or delivery, grocery stores and convenience stores, utility facilities, job centers, and courts,” said a statement from Governor Evers’ office.
