Eduardo Galvan has been serving as interim superintendent since July 15 after former Superintendent Dr. Keith Posley resigned on June 30 following a review of the financial operations in the district. The investigation found that financial reports were not submitted to the Department of Public Instruction in a timely manner, causing funds to be delayed to the district.
The Board hopes to have a new superintendent announced by late February or early March, with an anticipated start date of July 1.
