UPDATE AT 4:30: The Severe Thunderstorm Warnings have expired.
The National Weather Service has issued Severe Thunderstorm Warnings for Dodge and Jefferson Counties. The warnings will be in effect until 4:30 p.m. on October 23.

The NWS said the warnings impact northern Jefferson County and southern Dodge County in particular. Quarter sized hail is expected, with the potential to damage vehicles. The NWS is recommending people shelter indoors while the warnings are in effect due to the hazardous hail.
This is following the impact of this storm on Dane County earlier this afternoon. According to the NWS, the storm featured 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail, with local law enforcement reporting 1 inch hail in Waterloo.
