WAUKESHA, Wis. — Investigators from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office say they haven’t found any evidence of criminal activity following complaints that Waukesha West High School basketball players were filmed while changing for an away game at Arrowhead High School.
Waukesha County leaders were contacted with this complaint on Friday, February 10th, 2023, to which they took immediate action due to the sensitive and potentially illegal nature of this incident. On Weds., Feb. 15, they confirmed their findings that the Waukesha West men’s basketball team was offered a “meeting room” in place of an opposing locker room where players could change.
However, this room had an overhead security camera and windows that allowed a clear line of sight from the outside. WCSO officials confirmed that this is not meant to serve as an established locker room, which TMJ4 later confirmed in a statement from Arrowhead Superintendent Laura Myrah.

Waukesha County investigators thoroughly reviewed footage from the incident and couldn’t establish any indication of foul play or criminal activity. Their investigation will not end here as they resume interviews to find more details about the situation. In turn, Waukesha County investigators requested that Arrowhead High administration wait before destroying the video until they determine once and for all that it doesn’t contain evidence of a crime.
“AHS has been cooperative throughout this investigation and understands the gravity of the security of these videos and limiting their exposure,” a statement from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
County authorities extended their gratitude to administration from both schools, parents and students involved in the complaint for their compliance in this process.
