Plenty has been made today about Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers’s planned proposal to allocate 290 million dollars of state surplus money for American Family Field improvements.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos was noted early in the day as not being thrilled that the Governor didn’t inform him of his plans to unveil the proposal one day before his state budget address. However, he tells Wisconsin’s Afternoon News that while those in his caucus will likely not be in favor of this proposal, the issue of funding the ballpark is a multi-faceted one.
“No matter where you live in Wisconsin, if they leave the state, the sales tax, the income tax all follows to that new state they go to.” Vos said this afternoon on WTMJ.
