MILWAUKEE – Well-known restaurant in Milwaukee Mo’s…A Place for Steaks stops by WTMJ studios for a fun taste test.
Operating partner Jamie Vassallo joins Wisconsin’s Morning News to discuss the family business that’s recognized as a “staple” in the city.
“My dad’s from Italy, obviously, and food’s always been his passion,” Vassallo says.
Vassallo says he’s “for sure” noticing a bump in customer traffic due to the Milwaukee’s downtown scene being so exciting right now.
“It’s really exciting with Milwaukee Tool Fiserv, Graef; this side of the river is already taking off,” Vassallo says.
Mo’s is located at 720 N Plankinton Ave. and its been in operation since 1999. The restaurant specializes in, well, steaks but that’s not all. They have ribeye, including “Mo’s Signature Bone-in Ribeye,” salmon, chicken as well as wrapped sea scallops dubbed “The Dainty Lady” and “The Big Mo” served with a 4 oz. and 8 oz. filets, respectively, etc.
WTMJ’s Vince Vitrano, Greg Hill and Jason Smith enjoying the food brought in by Vassallo.
