MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Commission on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault is partnering with the City of Milwaukee’s Office of Violence Prevention to offer a virtual community meeting on domestic abuse Tuesday afternoon.
The meeting comes after a woman was killed by her intimate partner in Milwaukee over the weekend.
That woman has since been identified as 51-year-old Desiree Harris.
Her death represents the seventh woman killed by their domestic partner in Milwaukee in just three weeks.
The city of Milwaukee is stressing that a list of resources is available to anyone who needs it. You can access that list by clicking here.
Tuesday’s virtual community meeting is set to start at 3:00 p.m. and is open to members of the public.
