MADISON — Governor Tony Evers is expressing frustration with Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, after reports of his alleged decision to not certify the electoral college results in favor of President-Elect Joe Biden have been released.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Johnson will be one of seven senators and four senators-elect joining in the effort to not certify the results.
During an interview with the Journal Sentinel on Saturday, Johnson said allegations of voter fraud need to be investigated, a “large percentage of the population don’t view this election as legitimate” and over the past four years “the other side never acknowledged the legitimacy of President Trump.”
Biden defeated Trump in the Electoral College by 306 to 232.
