After more than 20 years in syndication, radio host Clark Howard will retire at the end of the year.
“It’s been a fantastic experience. Nothing is as much fun as radio,” Howard told WTMJ’s Scott Warras. “I get to connect with people and empower people with knowledge that hopefully helps them take more control of their lives. Who gets to do that? It’s a privilege and a responsibility. I feel like one of the luckiest people on earth.”
Howard, 65, has been on WTMJ radio since 1998.
“I am so grateful to the people of Milwaukee and the listeners of WTMJ,” Howard said. “What I love the most is when I have had the opportunity to visit with you in Milwaukee, how wonderfully kind people always were to me. I will be back because I need my Wisconsin custard at Kopp’s and Culver’s.”
Radio host Dave Ramsey will replace Clark Howard on WTMJ, M-F at 9p-12a.
