Little Switzerland Ski Hill in Slinger is adjusting to an abnormal year with the lack of snow and maneuvering through a pandemic.
Co-owner of Little Switzerland Mike Schmitz tells WTMJ there have been some challenges with social distancing but they are learning as they go.
“We have developed a comprehensive Covid plan.” said Schmitz.
They’ve increased outdoor seating, added fire pits and have more food service options.
“We certainly increased our cleaning and our staff training as it relates to Covid. We do have some capacity limitations especially on indoor space. Right now we haven’t limited outdoors but we haven’t ruled that out if we need to do that as well,” explain Schmitz.
Little Switzerland’s season officially opened Friday December 4 with about 50 percent of their terrain accessible to guests.
