MILWAUKEE — While Milwaukee’s Fire and Police Commission may not have named a new chief, they did pass the first police reform bill since last summer’s protests.
Chokeholds are now banned, unless an officer is in a life or death situation.
The decision was unanimous. Officers must also file a police report every time a gun is pulled on someone.
