UNION GROVE — An unknown number of Union Grove high school students attended an off-site, in-person homecoming dance over the weekend and are now back in school.
According to the Racine Journal Times, Administrators say they haven’t been able to reach the hall’s owners to get numbers or find out what safety precautions were in place.
Health officials say it may be too early to tell if the dance will become a “super-spreader” event since it can take two weeks for symptoms to show up.
The high school sent students home November 27th to prevent a possible post-Thanksgiving outbreak–they return to hybrid learning today with some students at home and others returning to classrooms.
