For a second year in a row, Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is offering their coat check service.
Working in partnership with retail partner Paradies Lagardère, people can leave their winter coat behind at Mitchell as they travel to warmer climates where they won’t be needed.
People can leave it with an attendant inside the Summerfest Marketplace store, which is located pre-security. Cost is $2 per day, or $10 per trip. East coat is wrapped in protective plastic, hung and locked away until it is retrieved.
“We remain the only major airport in the nation to offer this coat check service, and we’ve been pleased with the overwhelmingly positive response we’ve received this far,” said Airport Director Brian Dranzik. “We’re so glad to be able to bring this back again for another year. This simple idea is truly making the travel experience easier and
better for our passengers, and that’s what we continually aim to do here at MKE.”
“Paradies Lagardère is thrilled to offer this creative coat check service in Summerfest Marketplace at MKE,” said Vice President of Business Development Pat Wallace. “This unique feature is a great example of how we partnered with the airport to craft a complete traveler experience based on the specific needs of our customers.”
The coat check service will be available seven day a week and be open until the last flight operates.
