MILWAUKEE- The 2021 Milwaukee Film Festival will take place earlier than in year’s past.
Milwaukee Film announcing Monday that the 13th annual event will run May 6-20th, compared to September and October dates that the festival typically inhabits.
CEO Jonathan Jackson telling the Journal Sentinel that the festival will also be “primarily, or exclusively, virtual.” Updates on the possibility of in-person events at the 2021 festival are expected to be announced in April.
The festival announced “attendance” numbers of more than 66-thousand for the all online festival earlier this year.
