The New Berlin Police Department says a third suspect wanted in connection with a shots-fired incident on I-894 southbound and a subsequent chase through New Berlin on Friday night has been arrested.
An alert went out to residents in New Berlin just after 9:00 p.m. Friday, asking people in the area to shelter in place.
The vehicle chase ended when the suspect vehicle crashed near South Scott Drive and West Armour Avenue.
Three suspects fled from the scene. Two were arrested a short time later while a third person was able to get away.
Another alert went out just before 11:00 a.m. Saturday telling residents that the third suspect had been apprehended and that there was no “further safety concern for the community.”
